Support for ebike tax rebate

Extreme weather is getting worse because of climate changing resulting from the amount of carbon we have released in the atmosphere.  In Arlington, transportation produces more carbon emissions than any other sector. Conveniently, the way to address both of these problems is the same: get people to drive less.  And ebikes (bikes with small electric motors) are a great alternative to driving for most trips in Arlington - they allow most people to get to most places carrying most things without a car.  My husband and I have raised 3 kids (now ages 6, 8 & 10) in Arlington with only one car (that we barely use) because of the flexibility of ebikes.  For too many, cost is a barrier to purchasing an ebike.  Section 136407 of Build Back Better Act wo
